A Fraser Valley evening, plainly

Chilliwack Casino Online, Valley Style

Chilliwack Casino, the Local Way is a local guide to Elements Casino Chilliwack at 8180 Young Road, written apart from the casino and separate from its own site. It sets out when each part of the place opens, which ID to carry for the door staff and the distance to each valley town.

An evening by the clock

The Young Road floor opens daily at 10 a.m. Closing comes at midnight Sunday through Thursday and at 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. A longer schedule is posted too: 9 a.m. to 1 a.m., and to 2 a.m. from Friday to Sunday. So both the last hour of the night and the hour before 10 a.m. stay unclear, and a call to 604-701-3800 settles it.

The live tables follow a separate schedule: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, and 4 p.m. to midnight on Thursday. Friday and Saturday tables open at 5 p.m. and close at 1 a.m., while for Tuesday and Wednesday no table hours appear. Bingo is a weekend affair with two sessions on Saturday and Sunday, one 11:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., the other 6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Holiday hours never appear on the casino's pages, so the Young Road desk suggests phoning ahead as the surest check. Times stay on Pacific all year, and the clocks no longer change.

Pacific time, the same all year in B.C. Striped yellow means the casino posts two sets of floor hours and this hour is in only one of them: call 604-701-3800.

Hours as the Young Road casino posts them, all Pacific. A shift that runs beyond midnight wraps up on the next calendar date.

What sits on the floor

On the floor you will find slot machines alongside electronic table games, with no count posted for either. Five games are listed for the live tables: Kings Bounty Blackjack, Low Limits King Bounty Blackjack, Table Bet Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold'em and Ruyi Baccarat. Which ones are running on a given day comes down to how busy the casino is.

Minimums are set each day by business needs and game demand, so no fixed figures are published. The casino lists no poker room. A sportsbook, keno and a high-limit room are not mentioned either. Bingo is the weekend addition, with Saturday and Sunday sessions starting at 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Inside Elements Casino Chilliwack

The Well Public House

Inside the casino, The Well Public House serves as a pub-style restaurant and bar. Four menus come out of it: a restaurant menu, a bar menu, afternoon features and late-night bites. It can be rented for groups of up to 70 guests, with a buffet or plated dinner, and Wi-Fi covers the whole property. Its hours are not posted clearly, so phoning 604-701-3800 is how to confirm them.

Live music comes around weekly, with no cover charge and shows on Pacific time from 8 p.m. Shows are 19+, and you need two pieces of valid ID. The line-up sits on the casino's events page at elementscasinochilliwack.com/events and can change without notice.

The drive in from the valley

Chilliwack sits in the Fraser Valley, and the casino on Young Road lies east of Abbotsford and Mission and west of Hope. In a straight line, Mission is 24.5 km away and Abbotsford 29.9 km. Hope is 44.7 km, Maple Ridge 48.0 km and Langley City 51.9 km. From Vancouver the line runs 85.6 km.

Each figure above is a direct map line between two points, so it does not show road distance or driving time. For the real route, tap the directions button: Google Maps opens with the drive from whichever town you pick. The casino lists an address and phone number but says nothing about parking, buses or taxis, so a call to 604-701-3800 before leaving is worth it.

Driving to Elements Casino Chilliwack

At the door

Since June 26, 2023, B.C. casinos have asked every visitor for government-issued photo ID at the entrance. Security runs the card through a scanner to see whether its holder is on the restricted-entry list, which includes Game Break enrollees. Guests who pass through leave no personal information behind in that system. At Young Road, as across the province, 19 is the legal age.

Security at the Young Road entrance in Chilliwack takes a passport, Canadian or international, plus the B.C. Services Card and the BCID. Driver's licences from B.C. or anywhere else in North America pass, and so do Canadian citizenship and permanent resident cards. Also accepted: a Secure Certificate of Indian Status, Inuit, Metis or First Nations band membership cards, and government-issued foreign ID. For a music night at The Well, carry two pieces of valid ID.

A limit for the night

The night's limit holds up best when it is settled at home, before heading to Young Road. Choose an amount you can afford to lose and a time to leave, and do not move either one. Chasing losses is not part of the plan: the evening is over as soon as one limit is hit.

Encore Rewards, BCLC's loyalty program, comes with PlayPlanner. That tool lets a member set personal time and money limits and track wins and losses. Without an account, a written note of the amount and the stop time does the same job.

The money for the night

Split the evening's money across the hours you mean to stay; that sum is the ceiling for any single hour. When it runs out, the night on Young Road is finished, whatever the clock says.

The casino since 2012

Elements Casino Chilliwack opened in 2012 under Great Canadian Entertainment. In July 2026, after all regulatory approvals were received, it passed to an entity affiliated with Ts'elxwéyeqw Tribe Management Ltd. The new owner represents participating communities of the Ts'elxwéyeqw Tribe.

Who owns the Young Road building tells only part of the story. British Columbia law permits gambling solely when the province itself operates it, so every casino and all other commercial gambling fall under BCLC. The Chilliwack casino links to Encore Rewards, the BCLC loyalty program for BC casinos, with four tiers running from Single Diamond to Elite.

Online play in B.C.

Online, the rule from the Young Road casino floor carries over to screens: gambling is legal only when the province runs it. BCLC operates PlayNow.com, the one online gambling site British Columbia permits, and only players 19 or older may use it. The province's gambling regulator since April 13, 2026, is the IGCO, whose full name is the Independent Gambling Control Office. As the IGCO sees it, any other gambling website open to BC players is acting illegally within B.C.

This Chilliwack guide's Ad links all go to one privately owned online casino, a partner British Columbia has never licensed or permitted in any form. PlayNow limits and Game Break self-exclusion carry no weight on that partner's site, and the IGCO accepts no complaints concerning it. The Young Road desk earns a commission from the partner, leaves it unnamed on every page and may switch to a different one.
